COVID-19 positive data reported on this site includes students, teachers and staff enrolled in the school district on-site and off-site. This information is either shared by the parent/guardian of the student, notified by teachers and other staff, or communicated by the local health department. The school has attested that case information has been validated by Erie County Health Department.

Parent Guide to Virtual Learning Support Centers

Erie County has been working with local child care organizations, providers, school districts and community organizations to create Virtual Learning Support Centers (VLSCs). These are supervised programs that children can attend on the days that they are designated to complete their school work remotely.

Everyone involved in the opening of the VLSCs are working together to ensure that they are opening and operating in accordance with regulations set by New York State’s re-opening plans and by the Erie County Department of Health. Click here to download the guide.

Pursuant to the Governor’s Executive Order 202.4, school districts in NYS are required to establish and submit plans for the care of children of essential personnel across a wide array of critical professions and occupations that are necessary to protect and support the public. The list here is intended as an illustration and guide, but not an exhaustive list of professions or occupations eligible for prioritized childcare.
